Privet weed is an invasive shrub or small tree. It has glossy, dark green leaves and produces clusters of fragrant white flowers followed by bluish-black berries. Privet spreads aggressively, often outcompeting native plants and forming dense thickets that disrupt ecosystems.
Two types of privet are the Narrow Leaf Privet and the Broad leaf Privet.
